Google Glass explorers get positive reviews

Google Glass is still very much in the trial phase but the reputation of the wearable tech device is growing steadily. Google Glass explorers who wear the smartglasses out in public have been getting mainly positive reviews from curious onlookers, there has even been requests for tests.

The sleek head mounted computer has a wide range of different functionsand its unique look often intrigues people in public. JR Curley is a Google Glass explorer and has been telling The LA Times about his experiences when wearing Glass out in public and how it has changed how people look at him. Curley has rocked Glass in locations ranging from Disneyland to the local grocery store and feedback has been great so far.

Curley says that he regularly finds himself taking Google Glass off and allowing others to try them on, as a result his wife has dubbed herself the “Glass bystander.” Naturally explorers will get a lot of attention for wearing Glass; however not once has a wearer been asked to remove them from an establishment of any kind.

Google Glass has the ability to take photos and videos inconspicuously, which may make people around explorers uncomfortable through fear of having their privacy invaded. According to Curley he has not received any complaints from citizens, questioning what he is doing with Glass. There has been a few hiccups, such as reports of headaches and controversy as to whether <a href="http://www.product-reviews.net/2014/02/25/google-glass-fighting-to-prevent-driving-ban/”>Glass should be banned whilst driving.

Whether or not Google’s product will catch on when it becomes fully available is unclear, what is though is that things are looking positive for Glass and it will get even better.
